A unique fundraising opportunity featuring YOU!
On Saturday, August 22, join us for the 2nd annual “dinner and a show.” Attendees will enjoy a catered buffet meal with fellowship time followed by a talent showcase. The winners of the talent showcase will be determined by those in attendance. Every person can vote by donating money to the ministry. Every dollar equals one vote, and the top three vote-getters will be awarded prizes.
Registration for dinner will open June 15:
- Early bird (June 15 – June 30): $25 per person
- Regular price: $30 per person
- Late registration (August 13 – 20): $35 per person
Location: Calvary Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, MN
Timeline of the event:
- Buffet Dinner: 5:00 – 6:00 pm
- A catered meal to share, including options for those with dietary restrictions.
- Talent Show and Fundraising: 6:00 – 7:15 pm
- Led by a guest emcee, we will enjoy a variety of performances by members of our community of supporters and participants.
- Vote for the “winners” using your wallet.
- Testimonies and Praise: 7:15 – 8:00 pm
- Hear again how God is moving at Outpost through our various groups, and join your voice in praise with a short opportunity for everyone to sing together.
- We will end with an announcement of the talent show winners and a report on how much we raised in support of our fall ministry activities.
Be Part of the Show
We are in search of performers to help us make this unique and exciting fundraiser come to life.
We have exactly 8 slots to fill. Each act should be between 3 and 5 minutes long, and can have any number of performers in the group. You can sing a song, recite a poem, play an instrument, perform a comedy sketch, juggle while riding your unicycle, and so on. Whatever your talent, however light-hearted or serious, we’d love to have you there!
There is an application to complete to be considered for the show. Applications will open May 1. The fees to apply are as follows:
- Solo or duet performance: $25
- Group of 3 – 5 performers: $50
- Group of 6-11 performers: $75
- Group of 12 or more performers: $100
Anyone who applies to perform, along with all those in the performing group, will receive a special link to register for the dinner for only $15 per person.
We are working with the venue to confirm two opportunities for performers to come in and do a sound check in the week leading up to the event. Once you apply, watch your email for instructions on how to sign up for a sound check time.
